PANOS is seeking an experienced HR Director to build and lead human resources for the corporate office in Rochelle Park and the day to day operations at their Walden Farms manufacturing facility  in Linden, NJ.  PANOS brands has grown dramatically in the past five years and we are depending on your proven success managing and influencing people through transformational change, optimizing, improving and establishing processes.  In addition to the day-to-day recruiting, employee relations, compliance and training this role, the successful candidate will develop, recommend, and execute continuous improvements in the areas of safety, talent development, employee benefits and staffing.  This position has primary responsibility for managing the relationships with external vendors such as third party recruiters, HRIS and benefits brokers and for analyzing and recommending improvements to compensation and benefits.  Will manage the annual benefits renewal process.  This position is absolutely critical in the future success of the business.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or a related field. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is a plus.
  • 10+ years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing work environment with a predomininantly hourly workforce.
  • Candidates who are Bilingual in English and Spanish will be given preference.
  • Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to improve employee morale.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Personal and professional integrity of the highest order, with a balanced ego and the ability to dig in and focus on building a business.  
  • A business mindset and human resources skills and systems skill sets with an ability to partner with the CFO and CEO in growing the business and increasing shareholder value.  
  • Proven ability to integrate within a senior management team as a valued advisor and implementer.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to accomplish objectives.
  • Ability to challenge conventional thinking without offending team members.
